The Kingston Free Library is rooted in a tradition of providing distinctive service to the people of the community. The Library has been able to offer additional programs and services because of a very special group of people, The Friends of the Kingston Free Library. This group was organized in 1981.
Sponsored Programs
The Friends of the Kingston Free Library sponsor special programs, including:
- Author Lectures and Book Signings
- Educational Entertainment
- Family Programs
- Multimedia Events
- Story Hours
- Summer Reading Program
In addition, the Friends of the Kingston Free Library provide funding for additional materials and resources, and refreshments and volunteer help for special functions.
Become a Member
How do they do these things? Through Membership Dues, Book Sales, Donations, Sale of Friends' merchandise, and Kingston Village note cards. We need your help and support!
A commitment of as little as three (3) hours per year can be a great help to the Library. You can be as active as you want and you'll have the satisfaction of supporting one of our town's most valuable assets.
Donation Levels
- Individual/Family memberships at $15
- Sustaining Memberships at $16-$99
- Life memberships at $100
