Residents living on a Private Road may request their road be incorporated into the list Town owned roadways and formally become a public road.
All developers requesting acceptance of their roadway by the Town as a "Town Road" are required to meet the standards of the Subdivision and Land Development Regulations. Therefore, in an effort to assure that all accepted Town roads meet the same standards, the Town asks that all residents requesting that their private road be accepted provide information showing that their road(s) and right-of-way are per Town Ordinances.

Should the private road meet the requirements as noted, roadway acceptance will be subject to approval at the South Kingstown Town Council.
