istockphoto-1413583709-612x612

The Narragansett/South Kingstown Regional Senior Advisory Council is asking residents, 60 and older, to complete this brief survey to help the committee better understand the interests of our communities' older adults.  If you are 60 or older, please take a few moments (under five minutes!) to take this survey.  If you prefer to complete a paper survey, they will be available for pick up at the South Kingstown Senior Center and Public Libraries, Narragansett Community Center and Public Library; and South Kingstown and Narragansett Town Halls.  Or you can contact the South Kingstown Center at 401-789-0268, or Narragansett Community Center at 401-782-0675, and request that a copy be mailed to you.

Background on the Senior Regional Advisory Council:

In 2016 the South Kingstown and Narragansett Town Councils authorized the establishment of a regional Senior Advisory Council which meets on a quarterly basis. The Council was formed to

  • provide an opportunity for information sharing and collaboration, between South Kingstown and Narragansett, related to existing senior programs and essential services in both communities; and
  • identify possible gaps in resources
  • develop recommendations to foster streamlined service delivery to effectively meet the needs of the older adult population in South Kingstown and Narragansett.

Members of the advisory council include a Town Council member and staff representatives from South Kingstown and Narragansett, representation from community-based, service organizations such as Southern Rhode Island Volunteers, and citizen members over the age of 60.

Thank you, in advance, to those who will complete this survey.  The data that is collected will help the Regional Advisory Council gain better insight into the needs and preferences of South Kingstown's and Narragansett's 60+ residents.
